St. Christopher Episcopal Church- League City and St. Thomas The Apostle Episcopal Church- Nassau Bay invite you to our upcoming Women's Mini Retreat entitled Desire, Mystery, and Belonging. We are blessed to have Dr. Sarah Flick author of Desire, Mystery, and belonging as our guest speaker.
Written as a spiritual memoir by Houston-based psychiatrist and spiritual director Sarah Robinson Flick, this beautiful new book explores how desire, mystery, and belonging interplay to help us create a meaningful life. In each of our lives, as we pursue our deepest desires, we inevitably encounter mystery and hardship. It is belonging-to family, to friends, and to community-that supports us through our journeys. Sarah will reflect on how the interplay of these elements has affected her, and in doing so, will ask us to reflect on our own experiences.
This mini retreat will be a time for spiritual enrichment, prayer, reflection, connection, and fun. The cost is $10 per person with continental breakfast and lunch provided.
